About FastSpeech

FastSpeech turns what you say into written text, in whatever app you are already in. Press a shortcut, speak, and the finished sentence lands where your cursor is. No window to switch to, no copying back and forth.

Why it exists

Most people speak about three times faster than they type, and everything they write during a day is still typed. Dictation has existed for decades, but it has always meant a separate window, a separate document, and cleaning up afterwards. FastSpeech was built to remove that detour: the text arrives already punctuated, already tidy, in the place you were working.

How it works

Your voice is sent to our own service, transcribed, and cleaned up. Filler words go, punctuation comes, and your own vocabulary is respected: names, products and spellings you have taught it once are written correctly from then on. Your dictionary and your snippets follow your account, so a second computer knows them too.

What we do with your data

Recordings are used to produce your text and are not kept afterwards. Your history stays on your device and is never uploaded. What belongs to your account, your dictionary, snippets and settings, is stored so that it is there on your next machine. The details are in the privacy policy.

Who is behind it

FastSpeech is built and run by a small team in Germany. The company details are in the legal notice. If something is broken or missing, the fastest way to reach us is the help centre.
